Because this was a HUGE mistake! If the ratings are low,NESN people, it is probably BECAUSE THE TEAM IS NOT DOING WELL...! Don Orsillo is great..don't you get that ,?? Idiots?

NESN made a huge mistake by letting Don Orsillo go. Fans tune in to watch and listen to both Don and Jerry- whether the Sox are losing or not. The two together are the best in sports broadcasting. What are they thinking? Red Six Nation will not forgive nor tolerate this and they will lose viewership for sure. I personally will never support NESN again.

Don & Jerry are not just a great working team, they ARE the Red Sox! How you you ever think about breaking them up. They make watching even a losing game an experience. Things will never be the same if they let him go.

I strongly believe that Don Orsillo needs to stay at Nesn. I firmly believe that Nesn has no idea of the fallout that this ridiculous move will cause. If anyone needs firing it is Joseph Maar. If you think ratings are low now, just wait. Now get real and get Don back.

I signed this petition because Don belongs in the booth with Jerry Remy!! Don is a dedicated and loyal member of Red Six Nation!!! Whomever it was who came up with the idea of letting him go is clearly not thinking of all of us loyal, true and dedicated members of our beloved Boston Red Sox!!! It's a slap in the face to not just all of us and Jerry Remy, but to Mr. Orsillo and his family!!! NESN, you need to correct this wrong & quickly!!!!

I signed the petition in opposition of NESN's decision not to renew the contract of broadcaster Don Orsillo at the end of the 2015 baseball season. Don and Jerry Remy are a wonderfully talented, knowledgeable and entertaining broadcast team. I hate NESN's decision and hope this miserable decision will be changed!

I can't imagine a better broadcast team than Don and Jerry. What were you thinking? Two hometown boys to boot. I'm thinking perhaps I'll listen to the radio instead. Or not at all. The duo brought so much to the game. Definitely part of the charisma of the ball club. Bad decision.

Don Orsillo is great at his job. Keeps us into the game even when the team stinks as it does this year. For him to lose his job because some NESN newbie twit (joseph Maar) doesnt "like him" is absolutely not okay. No more NESN for me until that jerk fixes this.

I signed this petition because Don Orsillo is THE BEST sportscaster I have ever heard and watched. He is professional, baseball smart, great deep speaking voice, and a great person. He and Jerry Remy are a team. Don makes a perfect straightman to Jerry's humor. They don't miss a thing. I will not have the sound turned up on my TV is he is not there. I already ignor your commercials because they are stupid, and repetative. The same ones for the entire season, give me a break. Fire your person in charge of advertising. And those on air promos, well there's just too many of them. It doesn't give the announcer time to tell you about the game going on right now.

I only watch NESN for Don and Jerry - no Don - I'll just listen to the radio.  Very poor move.
