we are directly affected as we cannot get out our road (lessing) without crossing this robot, where no one stops at. there is no law at this robot even as taxis and trucks dont bother to stop. i honestly pray each time u need to get out there with my kids! that intersecrion and road is a complete mess!!

I live right next to this road.  The amount of dust inside and around the house is shocking. This poses a huge health risk not only to us but just think of the elderly living in Rynpark.

The motorist dont even obey the rules of the road, the taxi's and fellow motorist use the red light as go , its ridicules.  3 Weeks back a truck could not stop due to the speed that he was going and he was unfamiliar with the road and crashed through Rynpark's wall.  Since the substation went the road is 6 car's wide, some ppl still use only one side for going up and down and the rest make their own roads. Some days you have yp to 4 taxis going along side each other down to the spar's end.

Lastly why on earth are trucks allowed in Pretoria road.  They can use the high way up to Puttfontein or Spings road and get off, this will not only garantee that our tar holds for years, but conjestion will be less and also it will be safer.  During the morning hours between 1 - 4 that is a high speed track for trucks, YOU SHOULD HEAR THE BREAKING.

Its time somebody intrevene...........................................

Im so furious right now my car's bottom front light is broken because of that road. The small stones hit and broke the light. And now i have to fix and pay for it. As for the traffic in the morning?!!! Always late getting my child to school

Daily frustration. Use the road to go to Spar and pharmacy aswell as going to Northmead mall. Damage to vehicle, chip on window.

I have sustained damage to my motor vehicle while driving to my daughter's house on Pretoria Road. I now have to drive to Linmed and down Uys Street to shop at The Terrace.

Our cars are being exposed to all manner of damage, driving on this wreck of a track; we are having to drive a couple of kilometres out of our way to avoid driving on the stretch - we are situated mid-stream, in Lessing Street.
Despite avoiding the worst of the disrepair, we still have to go over Pretoria Rd when crossing Pretoria Rd to continue down Lessing Street: both sides of Pretoria have deep divets, which cannot be avoided when attempting the above.
The intersection traffic lights are totally disregarded by all traffic: I am surprised there has not been a major accident there.

I sincerely that the Ekurhuleni Department of roads senior civil engineer will open his eyes to what this ridiculous situation of terminating the original contractors contract has caused. Mayhem on this section of road, no traffic law enforcement, people have total disregard to RED / GREEN traffic signals and drive on the wrong side of the road. There were supposed to be two graders on site two weeks ago according to the official with whom I discussed the problem with, nothing to date.

It shows lack of foresight and consideration to the public and nearby shops and Rynfield Old Age Homes. The dust affects everyone in the vicinity, especially the aged and asthma sufferers. It is so inconvenient that I have taken to using Uys Road in order to avoid the worsening incomplete road works.It is not fair on businesses trying to make a living in such an economic downturn.

There is no traffic control, no control over taxis that make this mess even worse by breaking rules, my cars suspension as well as shocks have had to be replaced, as well as repairs to under my car. Total inconvenience for my traveling time to my business.

I cannot get access into Rynfield Terrace shopping centre via Pretoria Road. I have to go out of my way using Uys Road and this is highly irritating, not to mention waste of petrol and time
