Dear lord baby Jesus,

Mr. Hahn was kinda cool. He smelt funny and was harsh but it was all with good intentions. He had issues with some students but they were worked out. Hopes and prayers his contract gets renewed

Even though I was in guitar and I fell off my chair and it all got silent. I got up and said I'm okay, and he said "I don't care if you're okay, is my guitar okay?" I still love Mr. Hahn. He's one of the reasons I still come to this school.

As a parent, I feel Mr. Hahn has taken the band program from a low at the beginning of his term to a high this school year. Taking him away from the students now would be detrimental and an emotional low for the whole group. Please reconsider this decision.

The thing is, guys, this isn't just his job we are talking about here. This is purely his passion. He comes to work every day and no matter what is going on outside of his job, he puts on a smile, conducts our music and makes it sound ten times better than it did when we started. He has given us all he has every day. He took over Mr. Miller's shift for about three months, which Miller is so grateful for, and this is how they pay him back... It doesn't make sense. No matter what the issue is, it is undeserved and I am confident there are infinite better decisions than what they chose to resolve whatever the conflict was. After three years he has given us nothing but the best he can do every day, and this is not how it should end. In fact, it simply shouldn't end. He was personally my favorite teacher, and on a student's end it makes me more than unhappy, it makes me angry. Mr. Hahn, best wishes to all of your future endeavors and even though you hate Star Wars, may the force be with you.

Band simply isn't band without Hahn.

He is a great teacher. He cares about all his students. He loves coming to our school to teach how to play different instruments. He makes people feel better when they are having a bad day. He needs to stay at our school.
