#82016-06-24 19:35Scooters have been parking at Ollie Vees for nearly 4 years and they bring an interest to the town for many people who visit. Never any problems and parking has never been an issue over the years. The club creates a buzzy environment in the town and undertakes charity work too |

#102016-06-24 19:47Typical that something that is an attraction and good for the town and gives people a lot of pleasure is being stopped due to bureaucracy! |

#112016-06-24 20:00Let the scooters stay. They cause no harm and contribute to the unique and community atmosphere of LB High Street. |
Guest |
#122016-06-24 20:10Because the scooters aren't causing any obstruction and they are beautiful to look at when I walk through the town |

#132016-06-24 20:12I love seeing the scooters in Leighton. It's part of what makes it such a lovely town centre to visit. They aren't in the way, they don't do any harm. They are a charming feature. They must stay! |

#142016-06-24 20:17Because it is a harmless meeting point for like minded people, brings colour and interest to our High Street, stops it being a joyless collection of chain stores as so many other town centres, and brings character and economic support to the town's retail business. |

#152016-06-24 20:22Scooters are iconic symbols of heritage and a notable part of British post war history. By virtue of NO incidents, accidents, nuisance and moreover bringing "footfall" to a dwindling retail centre, pragmatic authorities must be seen to work with communities.. Not behave as inhibitors. Encourage innovation... Don't stifle charm and interest. |

#162016-06-24 20:23Because it was a friend of mine who posted it,asking for assistance,i'm into scooters, and fed up with boring bureaucrats making life dull,by kyboshing peoples recreational time on what lately seems to be a regular basis. |

#172016-06-24 20:24The weekly meeting brings a lot of enjoyment to many passers by as well as bringing trade to many local businesses from the scooterists themselves. |

#182016-06-24 20:26I think the scooter meet is a positive thing for the Leighton buzzard |
Guest |
#192016-06-24 20:27Can't possibility see why the scooters have become an issue. Surely common sense must prevail and see the positives they bring to the town. |
Guest |
#222016-06-24 20:32Because it's the right thing to do when common sense has been overlooked. |
Guest |
#232016-06-24 20:48We need to support local INDEPENDENT business. Not put barriers in their way to making a living. Plus ... The club and Ollie Vees has put Leighton on the map as an interesting place. Use common sense and leave them alone |
