Turkey has neveer been a full-fledged democracy, but it is now obvious that Turkey is on the road to dictatorship and state terror. The Turkish President, Mr. Erdogan, suffers from acute paranoia combined with a genuine hate towards democracy. Sahin Alpay has done nothing wrong, and I hope that he will be released as soon as possible. |
