The Hungarian national republic appropriates Honourable Gold Krest Shivarame Svami Maharadzhu (1949 of the river), to the spiritual leader of the Society of consciousness of Krishna.

1. The basis: throughout long time of Shivarama Svami carried out outstanding organizational activity and coordinated charitable programs.

2. Details. Shivarama Svami since 1989 as the spiritual leader selflessly worked, creating the Hungarian Society of consciousness of Krishna, организуя and improving charitable programs, caring of spiritual life of members of the Society. As a result of its activity much more the Hungarian tax bearers agrees to list at payment of annual taxes 1 % from their sum to the Society of consciousness of Krishna.

In a rating of the religious organizations of Hungary the Society of consciousness of Krishna occupies 4 place. Efforts of Shivaramy Svami the Society of consciousness of Krishna, become by the present spiritual community, enjoys in Hungary considerable support from other organizations and separate citizens. It reflects its outstanding organizing abilities. Human advantages of Shivaramy Svami also deserve all approval. Therefore the government of the Hungarian national republic shows to it the sympathy and expresses a recognition of its merits, awarding its Honourable Gold Cross in day of the 20 anniversary of the Hungarian Society of consciousness of Krishna.

Shivarama Svami (Peter Fly) was born in 1949 in Budapest. In 1956 his parents have emigrated to Canada. In 1973 it has joined the International society of consciousness of Krishna (ИСККОН). In 1979 has accepted a monastic vow (санньясу) and a name of Shivarama Svami. Since 1987 it is a member of Supervising Council ISKKON (Dzhi-Bi-Si) - to one of heads of this international Society. Throughout long time in England it supervised over the Indian community, promoting stabilization of public life in the country.

It has started to come to Hungary with the sermon of consciousness of Krishna since 1987 incognito. Depth of its knowledge, лидерские qualities and ability to install belief in consciousness of Krishna have led to creation of a remarkable spiritual community. After power change in the Hungarian republic the Society of consciousness of Krishna has been officially registered as the religious organization. Soon under its management the program «life Food» - food distribution needing has begun. Under this program vegetarian food needy, large-family and homeless people free of charge can receive.

The Old Indian spiritual literature which was given to people of the West by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada, is known all over the world. Under the direction of Shivaramy Svami it has been published in the Hungarian language. These books turned to all layers of a human society, learn to a nonviolence, steadiness, mercy, spiritual and corporal cleanliness. Under their influence of thousand people, especially youth, the bad habits have left.

In 1994 in vicinities of Shomodvamosha Shivarama Svami has based village Krishna-veld («the Valley of Krishna») - the Indian cultural center and a biofarm. «Simple life and raised thinking» – the motto of this Ecological village. On 150 hectares members of the Society of consciousness of Krishna are engaged in biological agriculture, crafts and different
Arts (with use of national Hungarian traditions). «The valley of Krishna» annually visit 30 - 35 thousand visitors from all country and from abroad. More than 10 thousand
Trustees support in the different ways this constantly developing community.

As the ecological village, «the Valley of Krishna» draws special attention of the organizations which are engaged in environment protection. Set of participants has collected

Свами. This center gives possibilities of spiritual formation not only to the Hungarian citizens, but also inhabitants of other countries. Besides, Shivarama Svami supervises
Communities in cities: Eger, Debrecen, Kecskemet and Pech.

Shivarama Svami actively participates in interconfessional dialogue. It had been organized numerous meetings, conversations and conferences of representatives various
Churches, societies and the movements, passing behind a round table in house atmosphere. It regularly takes part in various forums, meetings, scientific
Conferences and other forms of dialogue of the Hungarian intelligency. It also – the frequent visitor in the Hungarian mass-media.

Its efforts university Bhaktivedanty in Budapest - the higher religious school with day and correspondence modes of study has appeared and develops. Shivarama Svami also
Teaches at this university.

Vissza kellene állítani Magyarországon a királyságot! Mátyás király uralkodása alatt mennyivel tisztább és békésebb volt minden... Most is lehetne, csak össze kellene fogni! A Krisna-völgy a béke és harmónia szimbóluma!

please save our Hungary temple and cows

This is the only society in this universe whereby black and white can leave togather by singing,dancing and feasting.Even the united nations has failed to achieve this.
Please see it for yourself as they say seeing is believing. We love everyone in this earth which also includes cows. Longlive Srila Prabhupad!.
