Russia is a great country and it should not be afraid of spreading the word of GOD to keep its greatness. Bhagwad Gita is nothing more than a series of songs (Gita) by the GOD himself for the bteerment of humanity forget about what religion it belongs to. God is only ONE or we will all NOT be created as look alike humans.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is is a manual for humanity at large, which teaches how to live ones life in this material world so that at the end one is transferred to the spiritual world where he or she can serve God, the Supreme Being. He is also known as our Father and where Jesus and other such exhalted personalities dwell in harmony with the Supreme without any distress and sufferings experienced in this world.

This time moves in circle and as per scriptures (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindu_units_of_measurement).
End of book do not means end of human it is human for which all matter and force exist.
Banning a book do not stop human from evolution.
