The book Bhagavad Gita As It Is offers ancient wisdom for the reasonable consideration of rational human minds. It is not a dogmatic or fanatical propagation of blind faith but rather promotes peace, respect and non-sectarian insights which can benefit the individual and all human society.Only uncultured,ill-motivated & insecure people could even consider banning this book.

It is very important that we voice our strong disagreement on the point of banning the Bhagaved-gita As It Is!

The book is considered holy scripture by close 1 billion people worldwide and is commented on by a internationally recognized religious scholar.

It would be equally absurd to ban the Bible or the Quran. Therefore I urge to sign this petition. Even if you are not religious in any way, please support peoples right to believe and read whatever they want.

Что то Россия падает уже ниже не куда!Толи допились до мысли о том чтобы судить священное писание, то ли от того что делать не чего. Лучше бы занялись судом над табачными компаниями которые выпускают сигареты с расчетом на девушек и молодежь в целом или к примеру над компаниями по распространению энергетических напитков с примесью алкоголя. Вы нацией занимайтесь и коррупцией в стране. Как телевизор не включишь так то реклама , то фильмы -"обучалки" по разврату. Чем вы, правительство, не экстремисты по отношению к "своему" народу?!вы реальных людей взрывающих метро, дома, аэропорты никак найти не можете, тыкая пальцем "то в ваню то в петю", концов не найдешь. а тут "здрасьте" активизировались! да уж, процесс разложения начат в России...

Если дело - показательное и сфабрикованное, то поможет только ДАВЛЕНИЕ мировой общественности и ПОСТОЯННЫЕ молитвы. Неужели не было от ИСККОН как международной организации писем в адрес Президента Медведева, Премьер-министра Путина, посла Индии в России господина Аджая Мадхотры, Страсбургского суда и Европейского суда про правам человека? И если все дело в земельном споре, то не легче ли пожертвовать ферзем, чтобы выиграть битву? Харе Кришна!

There is tremendous amount of misery and hardship in the world. India's greatest contribution to the mankind is Bhagavad Gita and its sayings there in help the reader to think through and do their very best to help fellow human being and to make others' lives on this earth a little happier. It helps one to be a mirror to reflect and extend the light when one is not in a position to be the light oneself.
Sincere request to help the willing to absorb the essence of Gita and help a fellow Russian make better of this life on earth.
