#12012-02-10 12:09Is this the way to treat our champion? I don’t think so!! We should all be in support of Shawn for being such a great ambassador for South Africa and darts. What is wrong with you all????????? |

#52012-02-10 14:21This is a complete disgrace, this man represented the country he loves playing the sport he loves, with a disability that he has never spoken about, worried about or even used as an excuse, South Africa should be proud to have Shawn as one of their sporting stars. |

#9 Re:2012-02-10 15:51We need to get him playing darts again, if he is not allowed to play darts Due to him getting on T.V and putting south africa on the map, i think the people and the organisation who made the Desision will look very bad Indeed. best of luck from Us all At A180 darts who do our best for players. |

#112012-02-10 17:35A great way to treat someone who put their country on the map for one of the most supported sports in the world...Devon & Shawn did South Africa proud in my opinion and should be allowed to compete in the native home country. Rediculous decision to ban them |

#13 shawn hogan2012-02-10 21:29if this is the way they treat a champion then they need to band together and boycott a major event and show them that its the players that make the game and not the committee who plays it. we all dream of being on tv and playing for our country, he played a great game and should be rewarded not punished due to politics in sport. come on south africa back all your sports stars not just the mainline sports people. |

#182012-02-11 12:52Our players proved that we have world class talent in South Africa that should be promoting our darts by their participation. Why would we want to stifle their talent.? Our young players need people to look up to. Its one way of putting some life back into a sport whose numbers are decreasing each year. |

#202012-02-12 13:48I am of the opinion that the DSA management is acting irresponsible in their decision to ban Shawn and Devon. As a friend of both players, I am 100% sure that they will put back their experiences into the sport. this matter was discussed at the 2007 DSA AGM where we all agreed to acknowledge and accept the PDA. If the majority of players agree that our players must be afforded to participate in PDA tournaments, maybe the districts and regions should revisit the current management of DSA. Maybe it is time to elect people who really cares for the sport instead of electing people who loves to catch the "SHINE" and means very little to the sport. That is why I have decided to concentrate on golf instaed of fighting alosing battle with management. i will always support the Dvons and Shawns in darts. Godfrey daniels |

#21 Support Shaun Hogan2012-02-13 09:29It is sad that out of all the Dart players in South Africa there is only 186 players up to date that had the guts to support Shaun Hogan, most of them not South Africans. Dont sit on the fence all your life. Show your support it is not only for Shaun it's for all the Dart players in SA |

#252012-02-14 12:06Shawn has done our country proud and showed what talent South Africa has. He represented South Africa with great pride, professionalism and passion. South Africa have been striving to improve the participation of the previously excluded majority in competitive sports and won't completely succeed due to resistance on part of numerous federations - Such as Darts. Let Shawn play! |
