Garden waste and I quote "Can still be put in the black bin, but the council would prefer you didn't". I wonder what the Council are doing to recover monies owed from transient residents who never pay it?

we pay enough council tax so why should we pay to get bins emptied the next thing you will want to do is tax the other bins as well there is enough fly tipping now so without bins this will get worse

I think we pay enough in council tax to have our brown bins emptied. I only put mine out a few times a year anyway, I can see more fly tipping happening!

disgraceful and they make proffits of the compost made by our waste, why give it to us in the first place, thats it hit the poor again well done goverment !

To many fat cats in peterborough city council.Why should we pay for the brown bin collection when we recycle it for them and then they make money out of us by selling the compost which we give them. It's about time they start giving peterborough residents something back instead of taking for there own means.How are OAPS going to find the money to pay this charge.This charge is going to start a even bigger fly tipping problem. Peterborough city council Think again what you are doing.
