#512014-04-22 06:59 You're getting a lot of things terribly wrong at AFL House. Pricing is just one of them. The two golden rules of selling are don't confuse the prospect, and don't let him think he's not getting a fair deal. You've just broken both of them. BTW, take a walk down the High Streets and check out the empty shops and the perpetual sale signs. Do the same in the industrial estates. Middle Australia is hurting. |

#532014-04-22 12:58Have 8 Geelong Memberships and had to pay an extra 77-00 to see the game on Monday, this will stop families attending. None of us will be attending the Richmond game at mcg so there will be empty seats everywhere as they were near us on Monday. |

#60 AFL Members Seating Allocation2014-04-23 01:16What happened to the quality unreserved seating on level M for AFL members as advertised in the 2014 membership guide ? This money grabbing fiasco of selling off seating and leaving no walk up seating available for members on Level M is a disgrace. You are pushing older people upstairs to the Q section who have paid memberships for years. The game that pissed me off was the pitiful attendance of 57116 at the North v Coll game yet we were told no seating was available for walk ups in M section. It is a money grabbing venture that will end badly or the AFL because if they piss enough people off they will not attend any games and will stay at home to watch it. The AFL is tricking their own members into believing that every match is a reserve on demand match so they can get extra money for seats. All AFL members should boycott and Not pay the $7.50 fee for a seat and the AFL will have no choice but to open up these areas once again for members wanting to attend. |

#612014-04-23 02:16It appears to me that the AFL don't give a toss what supporters think. At lest, they don't care about the ones who actually want to attend the games. Variable pricing, the cost of food & drink, the cost of parking, scheduling of games at ridiculous times. It all points to one thing; they don't care about bums on seats at the game, they care about bums on seats in lounge rooms. All this is geared towards people watching on TV, driving up ratings, driving up Foxtel uptake, and as a result, driving up the next TV rights figure. I am a Collingwood Legends Member, but the only reason I can afford it is because I am the only one in my family interested in going. I really don't know how families can afford it. And the AFL don't care, as Vlad once said; "get Foxtel". The AFL are quite happy for Foxtel to be a more viable option for families than a seasons ticket. |

#632014-04-23 04:16I am a club member. I often go with my father and sister (both MCC members). Usually, to sit together, we all have to sit in the outer; they go in through the MCC then into the outer, so we can sit together with our current tickets. Now, if the game is ticketed, they have to buy full GA seat + reservation. They can't just add a GA reservation to their MCC tickets. Alternatively, I have to buy an MCC Visitor's ticket. |

#642014-04-24 01:16I have signed the petition, but unfortunately the AFL is so arrogant they wont listen or care. |

#652014-04-24 03:21I already pay a club membership, I buy good and (soft) drinks at the footy, why should I pay extra to watch my team play, especially when it's not a huge game? I have no issue with sitting up in the southern stand at the MCG, but I do have issue with paying for the hike up there |

#712014-04-27 09:41This came survives on the back of supporters, ignore at your own peril. Do you recall the ARL, correct a distant memory |

#722014-04-27 12:19Ticket prices have gone through the roof. My daughters guest pass ticket in the AFL members has gone from $10 to $18 and she's twelve. Paying $18 for a child over 6 is a disgrace. |

#732014-04-27 12:55Variable pricing makes attending a game more expensive for most people and particularly families and even more so when your team is allocated an 'A' game every week. Even some games are allocated A games but people can't work out why. It seems like every 2nd game is allocated this way. And even more unfair if you have to pay the variable pricing on the day and when you have a season ticket. |

#752014-04-27 22:05My family went to every Richmond Game but now we can only go to B,C grade game due to outrageous pricing this is just another AFL money grab driven by pure greed. |
