Ms Shuter has already started to turn our school around. She is totally committed and inspirational. She can't leave us - we won't get another Head like her.

What do you mean 'not clear enough', Ms Shuter is totally amazing. The past is done - she has always been open to us re these issues. It would be a crime for her not to return to the school where she can help shape our childrens future - dont you want that for your children?

But are you aware that she also raised many more thousands, +++, for that school and that they would have taken her back?

Am not giving her right, but forgiveness is a good lesson to learn and she has done nothing but good for our school and pupils - more than good, in fact. Weigh up the positive against the negative and the result couldnt be more clear.  I want my child to have the future she can provide with her vision.

"The Torah’s idea of teshuvah (“return”) is not just the undoing or correcting of a past error. Rather, teshuvah is about transforming the past. It means reaching back to change the significance and the consequences of what happened, so that the end result is better than what would have been had it not occurred."

Jo Shuter can provide life lessons to our children. I hope when my children start at KS in September it will be under her leadership.

It is astonishing that parents should defend a head teacher who has systematically abused her position and then sought to dismiss the allegations as either frivolous or malicious. In fact, as she has now admitted, they were entirely true. She then took up an appointment at another school, knowing that both the Police and the Teaching Agency were investigating her. She must have known that there was a high risk that she would be in this position and that would massively disrupt KSHS but, again, this was about Jo Shuter and not the interests of the students.

She denied the allegations right up to the point the DFE published its report

It was her previous school that reported her to the Teaching Agency. I very much doubt they would have her back.

It is more than clear! Yet parents think she is some kind of super woman. Let me tell you something, when I started lecturing in the Masters that I have been working with the last 4 yrs, we had to start with 60 apllicants for 40 places.  I began lecturing 10 hours and now I lecture 92 and I ma responsible for 7 courses in this master. in 2012 we had 450 applicants to the EEJSI course, in 2013 850. Why? Because the course delivered quality teaching and teachers who are good role models.

The course had a huge publicity when they heard that there was an English lecturer who devoted herself to the  course and students 100%. We were awarded AAA from the French department of Education, highest mark a course can get, and why all this? Because  I do my work with love and dedication and at no moment do I think about how much I earn, which isnt much.

That is what being a devoted teacher/lecturer is.

#20: JM - Is it just me ?

JM it is not just you. I have heard my children saying that she has the habit of hugging students and calling them gorgeous or saying something that isnt really appropriate.

This is what is wrong with her, she does not understand Judaism and she has been little by little killing what was left of judaism in the school.

She saw that the majority of students were not Jewsih so she decided to follow the ethic code of UTILITRIANISM, where the minority (in this case the Jewsih students) should be the ones to suffer for the greater good, hummm reminds me of something.

She was anti festivals, and went on babbling how she and her husband (who is not Jewish , but that is ok) were not praticants of any specific religion and her knowledge of Judaism was -0. Hence to her these festivals were irrelevant. So much so that on Yom Haatzmaut all kids were wearing their uniforms and a white and blue accessory and she was wearing GREEN!

What sort of message are you sending the children?

Yom Hashoa went blank, Ms Shutz put her foot down and organised an assembly on Yom Haatzmaut.

Dont use mobiles on school grounds, yet she can.

Dont eat outside the canteen, yet she can sit on a bench and do it.

it is basically: DO AS I SAY BUT DONT DO AS I DO!

great changes!!

I also totally agree with everything you say. There have been many mistakes made, the most serious one by the Governors of the school (apart from two sensible ones) for agreeing her appointment as Head Teacher whilst under investigation for 'misappropriation of funds'. I think many parents have been blinded by the fact that she was (as qouted in the media) a 'super head'.  The fact that she 'claimed' 7,000 Pounds in 'expenses' from her previous school for her own birthday party speaks volumes about her character and lack of morals and principles - two things that any teacher (let alone head teacher!) needs when teaching impressionable children.  I think the most serious effect (if she is allowed to stay) of this sorry saga is the very likely possibility of any future parents not considering KS to send their children to and even more Jewish parents moving away from the area.  As someone has quoted about 'forgiveness' in a previous comment, may I quote the Ten Commandments - 'Though Shalt Not Steal'.

#48: Lisa - Re:

Such wise words Lisa!

You are a wise woman, we need more parents like you, and this is exactly the point I have made since the day I first heard she was being appointed.

As a teacher/lecturer myself I feel very strong about this, and she may have turned QK around, but she took the money and not only £7K, much more.

She told the year 11's before she left that the media was distorting what she owned up to. She said that in regards to the furniture she claimed as expenses, she had bought furniture for her house but it wasnt adequate so she swapped it with the school's furniture! COME ON!!!!!!! one student called her a liar to her face!

Parents need to see that what she did is wrong, and the fact that she admtted to it just says it all. Why the hell would you use school money to fund your party?

She also spoke to the Prom comittee for this year, which my daughter is part of, and she was shocked to learn that the comittee (5 year 11 girls) were organising it all by themselves with no adult involvement. The first thing she asked was how were they handling the money and then she went on to say that from now on she and the school would organise it. WHy? it has always been the year 11 prom comittee who has been organising it, and it always ran smoothly, why would she change it? why would she make the decisions of where and how much???

Makes you wonder....
