Stop The Pit Bull Ban In Holton, Ks (2014)

Pit bulls are not aggressive dogs, it's the owners who treat them to be aggressive. I think this petition to 'Ban' pit bulls is ridiculous because they are one of the most protective dogs. And the fact that they are trying to ban them pisses me off because my husband and I along with a friend of ours just got turned in for owning 'Aggressive Pit bulls' and our dogs are Black Lab/ Weimaraner mix, and due to one of the dogs being Black and White they have to question whether or not it is a pit, I'm sorry Pits are not the only dogs with coloring like the dog we have that is in question. It's fricking stupid that my friend who owns this dog has to provide proof that her dog isn't a pit or the dog gets seized and put down. Who in their right mind would look at a black lab mix dog and instantly assume it's an AGGRESSIVE Pit. Doesn't matter if the dog was a Pit, it's freaking stupid that this ban is going through.
