I am signing because Evan Castaner made a premeditated decision to go ahead plan and plot the cold, blooded murder of Lena. At a young age we are taught right from wrong. Evan knew murder was wrong. Evan knew what murder meant. Evan knew the depth of murder. If Evan had the capacity and capability to plan the cold blooded attack. Evan had the mind of an adult and does not need to be seen as minor in this case. He (Evan) needs to be punished as an adult.Evan will also stand before our all mighty God as an adult who won’t see him as a child. Murder is one of the 10 commandments. Evan Castaner had the opportunity to not go through with the brutal act, people even tried to talk him out of committing the act. He still made the choice to commit the brutal crime. I have known Lene’a since her mother was pregnant with her. She was a beautiful young girl, loved by everyone she encountered. She did not deserve to be shot in the face. I am also signing this petition because in the past I was a victim of domestic violence and suffered many injuries, years of heartache, and mental turmoil. My abuser nearly took my life in 2010. I never had the courage to speak up. It has taken many years to heal and now I try to reach out to young girls to make better choices than I did especially concerning relationships.
