I care about the lives of these little beings who have been murdered for no other reason than they dared to live. I want the people who did this punished.

Lauren Kennedy (Washington, 2023-04-12)

#403

Leave the dogs alone!!!

Chris Farrell (Rochdale, 2023-04-12)

#404

Poisoning dogs is a crime, punish the guilty parties. Those dogs never chose to be homeless

Joanne Parry (London, 2023-04-12)

#405

Killing stray animals is cruel & unnecessary. The government should support & work with local shelters to address the issue.

Olga Zajickova (London, 2023-04-12)

#408

I would like the practice of poisoning dogs to stop.

RAINBOW GERVASI (Reading, 2023-04-12)

This is unacceptable cruelty against animals that cannot be overseen.

Beatrice Narkeviciute (London, 2023-04-12)

#431

I’m sickened by what has been going on with the dog cull in the Seychelles, more than that is how they did this in the most barbaric way. Laws and registration should be put in place. Cruelty there will carry on regardless unles this is put in place.

Julia Foster (York, 2023-04-12)

#433

Take care of the dogs and find them homes do not kill them , poison is a terrible way to die you should be ashamed of yourselves

Barbara Astley (Newton-Le-Willows, 2023-04-12)

#436

Heidi Wetl (Steiermark, 2023-04-12)

#437

This is cruel and should've never happened in the first place. The excuses that was given by those responsible could not have been further from the truth. These animals were not affecting people and they sure as hell was not affecting the tourism industry as it is being claimed. If anything, the killing of these innocent dogs is what's affecting our image for tourism. So much for positive change. Very disappointed and angered by this. Acts of killing of any kind is not acceptable, its even more unfair when you're doing it to a living, breathing creature (just like all of us) that couldnt even fight for itself!

Josie Lebon (Shannon, 2023-04-12)

#442

This is cruel and wrong

Stacey LM (Crawley, 2023-04-12)

Tania Mellie (Victoria, 2023-04-12)

#453

Poisoning stray animals is one step from poisoning homeless people!

Adam Broomfield-Strawn (London, 2023-04-12)

#455

#456

Dogs are wonderful animals and in the Seychelles they are very cute, it's better to take care of them, sterilize them, not poison them

Victoria Forafonova (Moscow, 2023-04-12)

#458

It is unacceptable what has happened and inhumane! Those responsible need to be punished. I hope this can change a lot of things for the better in Seychelles, for the animals.

Lyza Rodrigues (Mahe, 2023-04-12)

#460

Seychelles is my home and I want us to not only have exemplary laws and policies related to the environment but also laws and policies that mainstream best practices of animal welfare. Planet earth is for all species, not just human beings. We can do better to improve animal welfare in Seychelles, not just for cats and dogs but all animals. We have a long way to go but I have hope. We need to work together for positive change.

Divina Sabino (Victoria, 2023-04-12)

#468

I'm signing because this is horrific and inhumane. We have the capacity to do better in our world today. We are watching this and will boycott tourism. There simply has to be more education of people that animals are sentient beings.

Evelyn Aldous (London, 2023-04-12)

Them dying a slow painful death is NOT the answer!!

Mavis Poulton (Bilinga, 2023-04-13)

#485

The people of the Seychelles need to put an end to this barbaric behavior. Make those committing these atrocities accountable. Tourism will drop and drop till this is put right.

#491

This is barbaric and needs to stop right now

Oiendrila Basak (Mumbai, 2023-04-13)

#492

Poisoning is a horrible way to die, there is a lot of suffering. Animals feel pain and fear and should have the right not to. If dogs are sterilised then soon there won’t be the problem of strays. I wanted to come to the Seychelles but I won’t while poisoning is allowed. Please follow other countries that treat their animals humanely. Thank you.

Helen Maidment (Crewe, 2023-04-13)

#494

It’s a shame

Sabine Petry (Sinsheim, 2023-04-13)

#497

There are many alternatives worldwide which lead to success of this problem. This is not the solution, it doesn’t give a good picture of Seychelles in the public. Furthermore with mass poisoning I see that other animals are involved which should not be affected on top of this action.

Robin Berz (Mahe, 2023-04-13)

#499

Let the poor animals live and solve the problem in a reasonable way without animal cruelty!!!!
Stop cruelty to animals

Nicole Schulze (Bodenheim, 2023-04-13)

#500

An island that lives from tourists, the tourist management and the government should have understood that 99.9% of tourists love animals and look forward to the street dogs and do not want to see them dead.
There are also other island paradises on which you can escape. The Sychelles are not unique.

Anita Sellner (Toeging, 2023-04-13)

#502

I consider this matter very important!!

Birgit Feldmann (Frankfurt, 2023-04-13)

#506

I can’t believe this has happened, it’s disgusting and something needs to be done! My partner is Seychellois and we lived on Mahe for a while, it’s such a shame.

Kaitlin Morbey (York, 2023-04-13)

#508

It's barbaric! Surely with time, effort and education you could come to a more humane way of dealing with these dogs.

Stop this cruelty

Elais Panzic (Buenos Aires, 2023-04-13)

#518

Simply because this is totally sad and unacceptable! Animals deserves better treatment, rather than what had happened. They have a voice even though they can't talk, also have feelings. They sufferred so much! Supporting the group every step of the way until the end! 💜💜💜💜💜

Kierra Ramessur (Victoria, 2023-04-13)

#521

I am an animal lover, i own a puppy and a cat. Seeing what was happening in Seychelles with the dogs, first thing that came to mind was this is cruelty. I know that this could have a been dealt with in a professional manner, there are agencies and people that have dogs shelter in seychelles, they should have been approached for advise. Shame on my people for such act its sad

Connie Anthony (Nairobi, 2023-04-13)

#525

Its the right thing to do

andrew Parrish (Bel ombre, 2023-04-13)

#526

I do not agree with using poison to kill inocent and healthy beings. All creatures great and small deserve life. To die a slow and painful death is not acceptable. Especially when the dog could of been adopted or fostered.

Katie Thompson (Speyer, 2023-04-13)

Gisela Heine (Berlin, 2023-04-13)

#564

I felt in love with the stray dogs and it’s a reason for me to visit the island. I adopted a lovely dog this year! Poisoning is from hell and not from a paradise!

Caren Pfleger (Heppenheim, 2023-04-13)

#568

Such a thing is unacceptable and inhumane in modern society. Dog overpopulation can be dealt with in other ways and the Seychelles government must find a solution.

Irena Kocfeldová (Praha 3, 2023-04-14)

#572

Because those dogs should be cared for.

Rebecca Dyda (Brownstown, 2023-04-14)

Stop this evil

Phala Bowles (LYNCHBURG, 2023-04-14)

#585

This is animal cruelty and completely inhumane. I used to think of rhe Seychelles as a kind of paradise holiday location. After seeing how you treat defenceless animals, I will never go there - and I will make sure to speak about your country's cruelty to animals to everyone person I come into contact with.
You should do better than killing poor innocent animals.

adéa k Love (London, 2023-04-14)

Against cruelty to animals

Michelle Walsh (Victoria, 2023-04-14)

#589

I love the Seychelles so much, i've been there 3 times and wanted to come back this year.7DGA And i love all animals, most of all dogs.
I am shocked, disgusted and deeply sad about what people did to living, feeling creatures.
This can't be the right way ..... never, ever ! Killing innocent animals is unhumanity in it's most horrible way.
I will not come back to the Seychelles until there are laws or rules that will forbid acting like this and until there will be no kill-shelter left. And i will spread this horrible story where ever i can all over Europe.
Thank's to the people in your country who are standing up for animal rights and will be their voice.

Eva Zeininger (Krems, 2023-04-14)

#590

It is simply unbelievable how quickly a paradise becomes hell. How can one do such a thing to lovable creatures. Shame on those responsible.
