I’m signing this because we are in the middle of a major housing crisis and this is a piece of unused and unusable land belonging to the hurling club which if sold will benefit the club and therefore the wider community in terms of the facilities they support and also benefit the community in terms of more houses being available to house families.

Donagh McClafferty (Cork, 2020-01-09)

I support this planning application as it will benefit the Blackrock Community in terms of improved facilities.

The piece of land in question is a triangular piece of scrub land that is an eye sore and has never been used for any sporting activity in the club's history.

I’m signing this because I believe that this is a great opportunity for the club to raise necessary development funds. I also feel that, at a time where there is a housing and homeless crisis through the city, this development will provide vital housing in the area.

Beat of luck

Kind Regards

This will enable the club to redevelop our pitch, currently unplayable in winter, to enable the hundreds of local children, local schools and our adult players to play throughout the year. For the city it will bring extra much needed housing.
