The pavement trees in our street have not been trimmed for many years despite several requests from myself to the Ekurhuleni municipality. The trees are overgrown, causing a hazard to large vehicles driving in the street, hanging branches are so low on the pavement they interfere with pedestrians walking on the pavement and kill the grass under the trees, the branches completely cover some of the street lights, in autumn large quantities of leaves cover the road and pavement and block the water drains.

Our parks and pavements are a disgrace! Please do not hack the trees to death like you did in Great North Road! Only half of Kruger park was mowed and the undergrowth under the trees are a dumping ground and a security risk!
