I am signing because its a lovely unique farm for children and its important to keep places like this for the community. The family put a lot of work and love in their farm and it would be a shame to lose it all.Patricia Bachora (Banbury, 2023-05-30)

This sanctuary is an important asset to the community- ideal place for families to visit and ever so important for the care and wellbeing of the animals that reside there. All the new builds that are currently being built need finishing off properly and to standard before anymore thought is put into taking up anymore land for more new builds.
Longford Park, for example, is still lacking aminities promised - such as a GP surgery, pharmacist, convince shop and pub.

The Waterfowl Sanctuary brings SOOOO MUCH JOY & HAPPINESS TO THE COMMUNITY!!!💕🌈.If we want our children to know what life is like outside of AI, learning to care about OUR 🌎PLANET, & how to treat our animals & look after each other with LOVE, we should be ENCOURAGING places like this!!!💛💕🌈
Visitors from All Over the🌍 World gets the Opportunity to visit a Wonderful place at The Waterfowl Sanctuary!!! Many in Banbury and nearby can still remember their 1st visit as children & are now bringing their own grandchildren!!
It’s such a HUGE SHAME when the Council can’t see the POSITIVES this place brings to The Community! 😤
It would be an ABSOLUTE FAILURE on the Council’s part if they can’t support such a WORTHWHILE Institute! And I would Certainly NOT VOTE for such a sightless Council!!!🤬

The animals will have no where to go & the councils are greedy enough allowing houses to be built so they can get more council taxes in addition to having more traffic congestion if an estate gets builtKim Allen (Derby, 2023-06-01)

Mabel & Rodney are amazing. They run the sanctuary for the love of the animals and for putting smiles in children’s and adults faces especially when your child gets handed a small bunny to pet….. they have always been so genuine and I have been there several times with my son and have some great photos of a lovely down to earth experience at the sanctuary. Please help save the sanctuary by signing the petition…. I even named my chicken Mabel too as she’s such a sweet lady x x xKerry Lyons (Kings Sutton Banbury, 2023-06-01)

This is an animal sanctuary! We don't want this lost, yet alone this beautiful area built over. We must strongly announce our feeling over this. This lovely part of the countryside must be preserved and to lose this sanctuary as a result of development of buildings is disgusting. Save this Sanctuary!Alice Trenas (Banbury, 2023-06-01)

The Banbury area has already been over-developed and the people of North and West Oxfordshire need as much green and open space as they can get. The Wildfowl Sanctuary is a green lung and ecological haven that we simply cannot do without. Put people before profit for once.Adey Lines (Banbury, 2023-06-01)
