We have already donated a fortune to countries who are already wealthy enough but have corrupt people at the top creaming off the money for things other than what they were intended. It's about time this country put there own people first!

As a PAYE I ask the question "Who can you turn to to get yourself heard, definately not your MP, who are too busy toeing the party line or filling their own boots". So we have to rely on pressure groups if we want justice.

The Country is broke and our debts will be eventually paid off by our grandchildren.

How can it be sensible to borrow huge funds only to divert them to foreign aid to for example, countries that have space programms.

If we cannot afford to repair the damage done by the floods then we cannot afford to send money abroad

is it possible that the idiitic Cameron doesnt get the frustration and anger of people affected by the floods. He should divert ALL thgemoney intended for overseas aid to the affected areas to reimburse people of all their losses as well as strengthening defences anti-flood.Allk I can say to everyone affected is:REMEMBER all this at the ballots!

we don't want enquiries or anything else
thes flood victims want money.
its time Cameroon used some common sense
and took some of the billionsfrom aid for
flood defence if not he should look for a new job.

Government must listen. It's the people talking and the peoples money !!

Help our own people, who are in difficulty. Overseas aid has only succeeded in alienating us

We all know that much of the overseas aid never reaches the people for whom it is intended. Please divert this money to aiding people in this country who desperately need financial help because of the flooding and it will not go to waste.

overseas aid should be greatly reduced regardless of flooding

After all the asking of Government to change things for the better, still they resist.

The posturing of the politicians leaves me cold. Their public appearances mean nothing. What they say is just rhetoric. The Environment agency should be split so there is no conflict of interests. Those in charge should be sacked for being incompetent. After all the country has endured weather wise over the years the support for such devastation to the environment and the people should already be in place and be a natural process to assist those in need. It is time the government took proper control and brought in legislation to stop building on flood plains
