if the positions were reversed, a 14 yr old white boy shot an older African American boy, there would be marches in the street for justice. The boy who died was white and the outrage is for the 14 year old not to be tried as an adult! It has just gone too far! There has to be a change and I for one am ready to march the streets in the name of Justice for Jacob.

I'm from Erie. Lived here my whole life and crimes with guns have gotten way out of controlle. I'm afraid to let my grandchildren play out side in fear that they will get hit by a bullet. It don't matter what color you are I would still feel this way,he knewbwhat he was doing when he picked that gun up and took it out side. He knew that we were having problems with all these killing. I feel he should be tried as an adult.

I agree, he had my vote. This death penalty thing makes me think twice. I don't believe in killing people, but in some instances the courts have to decide if it is the thing to do for justice.

#1: - everybody talkin about justice yes i agree but if there were positive things in place for kids to do maybe this would not have happened how about opening up all the SCHOOLS THAT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT DECIDED TO CLOSE AS COMMUNITY CENTERS there are grants out there to get it started

The youth in this country needs to be held accountable for their actions. The time of them thinking I am a juvenile and will be out when I turn 21, needs to stop. A heinous crime like this needs the stiffest penalty, death by hanging right after the trial would sure wake the youth of this country up, and the adults too.
