History teaches us how under the influence of the 2000 year old Bible and the 1500 year old Koran, Emperors, Kings, priests and soldiers conducted many genocidal "Holy Wars". The same cannot be said of the Bhagavad Gita despite its 5000 year presence on this planet.

This move by Russian authorities to Ban the Word of God is nothing but a way of keeping people in darkness and take them along with themselves to Yamaraja planets. If the Russian authorities and the Orthodox church relish in going to Yamaraja planets why stop others from the chance of going to Vaikuntha by accepting the path of Bhakti

this is ridiculous to think also to ban such a human science.from ages people and scholars have read this and suggested the human society to follow the instructions to succeed in their lives and live happily.if some community of the world don't want to read then atleast let others read and take benefits out of it.human rights and freedom should be preserved all over the world.it should be free to be read by any body and any community.

This is unfortunate that Russia has acted in a foolish way. This incident doesn't degrade the importance of Bhagvad Gita in human life but surely it has shown the real face of 21st century and devil changes in our society. Either they take it back or not, its totally unfortunate on Russia's part. May god bless all..!

The sacred books of all faiths are meant for benefit and goodness of the population of entire world. Bhagvatgita which means 'Sermon of the Lord' is good not only people of this planet earth, it is good for all the creatures even superior to human beings (Homo sapiens) in the entire universe. Banning such a sacred book is a hasty ignorant act.Why Hindus, even God will forgive this ignorant act, but will laugh at it.

please do not ban BhagvatGita.there no such book in entire world whose teachings are universal.Anybody,no matter where someone coming from,studies BhagvatGita will learn how much it's teachings are applicable even in this SOCALLED MODERN WORLD.
