I spend hours in traffic everyday in certain portions of Lynnwood road where there are single lanes. These areas urgently require extension to two lanes. It is inconceivable that it can even be considered to limit lanes in Lynnwood and Atterbury roads from two to one. The introduction of a bus system will have no benefit for me as a have to transport small children and my work requires the transport of many, heavy files for which I need to use my vehicle. I do support the bus system as it will benefit many people BUT a third lane should be constructed for this purpose. it can not be introduced to the detriment of other road users and have the result of increased traffic congestion. This will ultimately have the effect of moving one step forwards and 2 steps backwards. Please reconsider!

A regular bus service can run without having to place bus stops in the centre of the road! Empire road is proof of the failure of this 'bus lane' idea. Please do not apply this to Lynnwood and Atterbury Roads. Traffic is extremely slow as it is, particularly at peak hours. By all means encourage regular use of bus services but not by reducing road width.

There are ± 13 educational institution (schools) and UP in Lynnwood avenue from Loftus to Hans Strydom that effects the traffic enormously. Are they insane?

Surely we don't need a bus lane in Lynnwood - as Putco busses are commuting effectively currently without having a specific lanes.

This is a money making scheme - just wasting tax payers money!!

There are ± 13 education institutions in Lynnwood Avenue, which as it is at the moment, cannot accommodate all the traffic. It is insane!

Uninformed decisions by the Tshwane Municipality having little regard for its citizens

the traffic is hectic as it is, with one lane, it will never work with businesses,TUKS and schools in the area

It will be an absolute nightmare to get to work on Lynnwood Road coming from Equestria. The traffic is already very congested. My daughter also travels to the University of Pretoria for classes starting at 7:30.

I cannot actually see will be using the busses in the middle lane, as the Gautrain is already under utilized.

Lynnwood is already very congested. The usage of bus lanes are not working any ware e.g: Sandton. Not a good option, most people are going by Gautrain and not using the bus.

Lynnwood is already a congested area ito road traffic. Only one lane will turn traffic into an absolute nightmare and increase the accident rate due to frustrated drivers and bad driving behaviour.

The grid lock caused by the lane closure will spill over to all other roads in the east and affect every residence, even if you do not travel via Lynnwood.

Combine this and the new casino complex just off Atterbury and you have a recipe for disaster.

If traffic lanes in Lynnwood Road are reduced for car transport the congestion will be severe.

It affects me as it is the road I take to work on a daily basis - a single lane is madness! Traffic is already congested and slow.

We rather need extra lanes for motor vehicles and other traffic. All I see are empty or almost empty Gautrain buses and Tshwane buses speeding up and down

Traffic is hectic as it is. If only one lane is open for traffic it will be chaotic!

I travel down Lynnwood Road daily from my home to my children's schools - and no, the new bus service will have NO positive effect on my daily routine. Adding extra traffic woes to my life will definitely not be welcome!

THIS LANE DEVELOPMENT WILL AFFECT TRAFIC IN A TREMENDOUS MANNER. THE ROAD WORKS WILL AFFECT MY BUSINESS AS PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCES THE CENTRE.

The amount of congestion currently going on affects the people who need to attend meetings in the area. Any further reduction of freedom of traffic flow will seriously affect work productivity, as more and more time is spent on the road just getting to meetings and then having to get back home, or where-ever. More lane closures would be a seriously stupid thing for the Council to attempt. They are supposed to listen to their communities needs, this is their mandate, not so?

It does not make any sense to reduce the lanes which effect more than 50 000+ people that use the road daily!!
