#772015-03-31 20:00The idea of making Atterbury and Lynnwood single lane roads are ridiculous and a waste of taxpayer money. |

#792015-04-09 10:03Because the public participation process is critical to retain democratic due process. The council should rather consider applying their minds and planners to ADDING another lane for the BRT - even if they reduce the width of each of the 2 car lanes slightly? |

#812015-04-12 17:53I live in Pretoria and have experienced the impact of the lane changes in Lynnwood Road - especially in die University/ Loftus Versveld/Sunnyside area The City Council should do impact studies BEFOREconsidering or implementing projects like this. Where are the townplanners?? |

#822015-04-13 07:30Reducing the lanes will cause major traffic congestion even for the traffic loads as it is today |
Guest |
#832015-04-13 07:39Because I use Lynnwood Road everyday and as it is with 2 lanes in each direction, sometimes the traffic is a nightmare. With one lane it will be impossible. |

#842015-04-13 11:01Because I'm living in the Eastern Pretoria on a plot and it will be a nightmare to get from A to Z |

#852015-04-13 20:29I travel down Lynnwood road daily between work and home and as it is the traffic is quite heavy and slow during peak times. It is downright irresponsible to remove lanes from the road as it is. The council should widen the road and add additional lanes. |

#862015-04-16 05:07I travel this road at least 3 times per day and it is already horrific in peak times |

#872015-04-16 05:32Because we are the people living with Tshwane's short sightedness. The fact that they are incapable of managing anything must not become our burden in life. They can rather do away with the rapid transport service |
Guest |
#882015-04-16 09:53Because of the traffic implication in reaching the city from the east regarding delivery and procurement. |

#892015-04-17 04:42Some of the areas in question are seeing rapid new developments since being rezoned as medium density. This means more traffic. Reducing to one lane traffic is a nightmare waiting to happen. |

#902015-04-17 06:58It will make traffic flow from east to west of Pretoria impossible-there is major congestion with 2 lanes either way-one lane would be distastrous.

#912015-04-17 07:40Because the impact on individuals and businesses using this access route will be extreme to say the least both in time and in cost, all apparently resulting from the Municipality officials not doing their job properly as to fail to obtain the funding originally identified |

#922015-04-17 09:34How on earth can you expect this to work??? Have you seen the traffic as is??? Even 2 lanes are to little!!!! |

#932015-04-20 06:37i am totaly against this happening. i have to travel to and from Girls High twice everyday and this would be devastating to say the least. It will cause absolute havoc on the roads. And what about varsity students too. |

#942015-04-20 07:54It s already a problem. We will be more late than ever for work No pls stop |

#962015-04-20 08:49Me and my children use Lynnwood road every morning and afternoonto get to University and back in peak our traffic!!!!! |
Guest |
#972015-04-20 10:47I live in the area and the closure of one lane in each direction in Lynnwood Road will have a serious adverse effect on east-west traffic flow not only on Lynnwood Road but all the other east-west access routes in the area. |

#992015-04-21 04:57The rationale for reducing the traffic lanes can surely not be justified by saying there is a shortage of funding. If this is the case, the bus service must rather be withdrawn and alternatives considered. The decision to reduce the lanes, borders on a thinking of some-one that does not know what he is doing, by ignoring the future impact. |

#1002015-04-21 05:04The idea is to feed the City central with citizens and keep the mid city alive. Exactly the contrary will happen as the obstacles placed on the way will force residents in the east to consider alternative places to visit as travelling to the west will become impossible. Old schools will be affected. |
