The inconvenience that will affect many commuters who are unable to use the BRT system has not been considered or even discussed with the public.

The council have clearly not driven on this route during peak traffic. This would make

absolutely no sense what so ever! There would be permanent gridlock with productivity being compromised and classes missed. Wake Up Tshwane!!!

This is an impractical plan, and will only make traffic worse. We cannot make use of the bus services as there is no service running to our destination. We have to drive ourselves. Stop being impractical because you, yet again, are in financial trouble.

As I use both Jan Shoba and Lynnwood road on a regular basis and both these roads a congested with all the lanes open. If Lynnwood road is congested it impacts on all the surrounding roads resulting in a grid locked situation particularly with the university students already parking up the area on a daily basis.

Traffic congestion along Lynnwood Road is already a reality -- reducing the number of lanes will cause chaos both on Lynnwood and the surrounding streets.

I signed because it's going to make rush hour traffic worse in Lynnwood Rd. and will also cause an unacceptable increase in traffic volumes in alternative routes.

Traffic is already in trouble on Lynwood Rd - the decision makers should take responsibility and pay for extra fuel consumed and productivity lost.

THE REDUCTION OF LANES IN LYNNWOOD ROAD WILL CAUSE HEAVY TRAFIC CONGESTION. THIS WILL ALSO HAVE A NEGATIVE INFLUENCE ON THE MARKET VALUES OF PROPERTIES WITHIN THE LYNNWOOD AREA!!!

It should be blatantly obvious to anyone who has ever travelled on Lynnwood Road, even during non-peak hours, that reserving one lane of this street for bus transit only, will result in gridlocked traffic for miles around. Such utterly illogical and ill-informed decision will ruin much of our city.

It is most important that the free flow of traffic is not hampered.

We use Lynnwood road every morning to get to school and university. Reducing the lanes will make the morning traffic almost impossible to negotiate.

Reducing Lynnwood road to single lanes is preposterous. Lynnwood road should have been widened years ago along with the residential extensions in the east. It is already inadequate as it stands.

Why do buses need a dedicated lane? it's not as if there is a bus running every 10 minutes. . .

I travel down Lynwood Road every day and reducing the lanes would result in more congestion than what we have now, especially during peak hours.

I signed the petition against the reduction of lanes on die Line 2B of the TRT/BRT.The loss of these lanes will cause extreme loss of effective and time saving access to the road users with the loss of productive time and the consequential detriment to the Tshwane economy.

To prevent traffic congestion problems as anticipated by the changed decision of the municipality.

Will result in unacceptable increase of traffic in residential suburbs such Menlo Park due to motorists using alternative routes to bypass the congestion caused on the mentioned main routes.

One lane car traffic for Lynnwood and Atterbury Roads won't work - reminds me of Eskom planning.

Bad planning. It will not work.

Lynnwoood Road is the best way for many of us living in the East of Pretoria to get to centre of town and to Hatfield.

Not good for traffic flow, not good for already high levels of frustration on the roads, not good for business, bad idea in total.

I travel on Lynnwood road every day. It is already congested during peak hours, and reducing the number of lanes will cause absolute chaos with the traffic.

It is a ridiculous idea to have only one lane in each direction in Lynnwood Road
